South Campus Commons 2010-2011 Move-In
 
 
Welcome to South Campus Commons! Move-in is quickly approaching and we want to provide the tools and information you will need to have a successful move-in. Move-in information was mailed to all new resident several weeks ago. The information included a move-in letter, move-in newsletter, parking map for the move-in period, and a rental payment sheet. If you did not receive your packet in the mail, please contact the SCC Leasing Office at 301-226-8001.
 
Please keep in mind the following move-in dates:
 
Saturday, August 21, 2010: First day of move-in
10:00am-6:00pm
All SCC Buildings
 
Sunday, August 22, 2010-Sunday, August 29, 2010: Remainder of SCC Move-In period
12:00pm-5:00pm
All SCC Buildings
 
Monday, August 30, 2010: First day of classes for the 2010-2011 academic year
 
 
In addition to the information above, please keep in mind the following tips to ensure your successful move-in:
-          August 21st is the earliest time that new residents will be allowed to move-in. No early move-in requests will be granted.
-          Move-in carts may not be available, so please plan to bring your own handtruck or handcart if you feel that you may need one.
-          If you are moving into a unit that is already occupied by your roommates, it is important to communicate with them prior to your arrival regarding the condition and preparation of the unit.
 
 
UMPD will be limiting traffic around South Campus Commons on move-in days. Please plan to arrive, unload your belongings quickly, and move your vehicle(s) to the parking garage or assigned lot. Parking map & information during move-in are contained within the links below. Please select the link of the map that corresponds with the building of your 2010-2011 unit.

and South Campus Commons will be on hand to answer your
questions on applying, priority, and eligibility.  They will be able to
provide detailed information on each community.
